WebBuild Password Security (WBPS) is an easy-to-use program that enables you to create secure pages on a Web site and restrict access to visitors who log in using authorized user names and passwords. As site administrator, you have complete control over the users who are authorized to visit each page, and you can set and change passwords for any users at any time.

Sites protected with this technology can be hosted on most Web servers, including those that are offered for free by many Internet Service Providers. WBPS does not need special software or services (like SSL) to be installed on your Web server. There is no need for you to incur the cost and logistical headaches of obtaining and managing SSL certificates.
WBPS requires the Windows Operating System (Windows 98 SE or later) and Internet Explorer (version 5.5 or later). Sites protected by WebBuild Password Security can be accessed by users who have any current browser with JavaScript and cookies enabled and any operating system.
WBPS is closely integrated with WebBuild Express, our award-winning Web site design program. It's a simple matter to add WBPS security features to a site you design using WebBuild Express. You do not, however, have to have WebBuild Express to use WBPS.
